- What you have is not a null modem cable (not for the Amiga at any rate).
- A null modem cable is a 25 pin female - female cable containing three
- wires:

- The parallel cable used by parnet contains enough wires to allow data to
- be sent from one Amiga to another byte by byte. Data can only be sent
- down the null modem cable bit-by-bit. Therefore, data transfer over the
- parallel cable is faster.
